Carlos A. Espitia, Conquistador Rally Founder
Carlos quickly fell in love with HPDE, DE & track events shortly after his first track event with PBOC at Homestead Speedway in 2007. After a couple of years, he quickly realized that there was no real community for those who enjoyed the sport. With the help of his friend Chris Gregor, he created TrackWeekend.com - the fastly-growing portal for all track, HPDE, and racing events in Florida.
Through his work in online marketing since 1999, and countless online marketing research projects with major clients such as The New York Times, Reuters, The Street, and Encyclopedia Britannica, Carlos has become an authority in online optimization including SEO, SEM, email deployment, and online user experience. Carlos is the owner of CAE Marketing Group, LLC.
Carlos is a solo-certified driver with all the major motorsports clubs in FL, including PBOC, NASA, Chin, PCA, Hooked on Driving, and ERME. He is looking to take his first stint at racing in 2010.
Carlos served with the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years, from 1993 to 1997 in a light-armor reconnaissance unit.
Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of Florida.
