Frequently Asked Questions (a.ka. FAQs)

Do I need to own an exotic car?
No, the rally is open to any car, truck, van or little red wagon you have laying around

Do I need any special equipment?
No special computers, timers or anything else is required. But we do suggest at least one good working brain is fully engaged.

Do I need to make any reservations?
No reservations are needed; The Conquistador Rally will take care of your accommodations.

How long is the Rally?
The First Annual Conquistador rally will be a one day event with a banquet party and luxurious accommodations for the night. What this boils down to is, do not make plans for the following day because the hangover may last a while.

What is the Route?
The rally will be an east coast to west coast affair. The exact route is a closely guarded secret and if we told you then we would have to seriously hurt you.

Is the rally fun?
You will have a grin from ear to ear. If you don’t, check your pulse you might be dead.

Do I need a crew?
No crew is needed. We encourage a Driver and a Navigator minimum per car but there is not minimum or maximum. Go ahead and pack that Fiat 500 with all the clowns you can find.

Is this a race?
Nope this is an event and a competition but it is not a race.

Is this legal?
Yes, Hum at least we think so. J/k its legal

Will I have to break the speed limit to win?
Absolutely not. The event is about finding the checkpoints and completing the tasks. If you speed and get caught we have one bit of advice “do not bend over to pick up the soap”

I have a classic car, may I enter the rally?
Please do, we love classic cars

Can I bring my kids?
Yes kids are allowed, and not only allowed but any kid under 12 years old is FREE
