Rally Rules

Here's The Skinny...
This is a very relaxed rally but it is still a competition and a winner will be declared.

"NO speeding" 100 points will be deducted for a speeding ticket and we will embarrass you in front of the whole crowd at the awards banquet.

You will have a pre-determined amount of time to reach a checkpoint. Any time over or under that time will cost you points. 1 point for every minute in either direction.

You will have a chance to collect extra points for completing certain tasks in between the checkpoints. this will be added or deducted from your total at the end point.

The end of the rally will be a track timed session at Charlotte County Motorsport Park. A special road course will be set up for the Conquistador Rally participants. 2 hours of track time will be available. The best time will get no penalty points and every time behind that one will get 1 penalty point. 

He/She/It who arrives with the least amount of penalty points WINS.

All participants will arrive at the end hotel to drop off luggage, kids, wives, husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends, dogs, cats, mother in laws, etc. and drive to the racetrack for the timed session. YES YES, wives, husbands, boyfriends, kids and girlfriends can come to the track (leave the mother in law at the hotel)

Morning driver meeting - attendance is MANDATORY
Don't be late for this one

Decals
Every car must display the rally logo (provided) on both car doors

Traffic Laws
Obey them all (including the Speed Limit ones)

Attire
Extra points for conquistador/rennaissance attire

Track Event
Participation is NOT required, but you won't receive points if you don't participate. Helmets are required for driver & passenger if participating in the track event.

Can I bring my kids?
Yes kids are allowed, and not only allowed but any kid under 15 years old is FREE
